Ethne Munden holds a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medical Acupuncture. She undertook a total immersion program in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) which offered the W.H.O. International syllabus. Ethne is also a graduate of the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program for health professionals from McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario. Along with her daughter she has done coursework Internationally and in Canada in Cosmetic Acupuncture. Ethne began her career as a Registered nurse and has a particular interest in general wellness, pain management and back injury prevention and care. She has undertaken many courses in the area of musculo-skeletal problems, the functional assessment and management of sports injury and whiplash. Ethne has a very eclectic health care and fitness background and complements her practice with Iridology, Homeopathy & Yoga therapy. She has authored a Yoga book and hosted a local T.V. program on Yoga. She has been a guest speaker at World, National and Provincial conferences. She has appeared in several local papers and on local Radio & TV programs, educating the public about her profession. She brings over thirty years of clinical experience to her practice. Bengie Munden

Bengie Munden is a licensed Chinese Medicine Practitioner. She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriential Medicine in Victoria B.C.. which offers Canada’s oldest and most reputable four year program of acupuncture and herbal medicine. Outside of practicing Medical Acupuncture & Chinese medicine she is also a specialist in Cosmetic Acupuncture, & Acupuncture for cellulite. In her practice she combines techniques learned from some of Canada’s favourite & most publicized teachers in the field. Bengie is also a Massage Therapist, graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydro therapy in Newmarket Ont.. She combines her knowledge of professional massage in her treatments. She has been in practice now for 7 years. She has appeared in several local papers and on local TV shows educating the public about her profession.
Danielle Campbell
D. Ac
Danielle Campbell is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist. She recently graduated with honors from a three year professional program including one and half years of internship. Additionally, she studied with Shali Rassouli at the Cosmetic Acupuncture Clinic in Toronto, ON specializing in cosmetic acupuncture and acupuncture for cellulite. Danielle also has completed training in Healing Touch. Look for Danielle in upcoming issues of the Newfoundland Herald. Danielle will be a regular contributor to the magazine with an alternative health column.
Barb Draper
B. Sc, D. Ac
Barb Draper is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturist. She graduated with honors from a three-year professional diploma program. Barb also has her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba, where she studied biology. She spent many years in the arctic studying biology and also worked in the hospital clinical laboratory. Barb holds her first level of Reiki training.
Education
Danielle and Barb attended a benchmark training program developed by Grant McEwan in Alberta and hosted by CompuCollege in St. John’s Newfoundland. The program involves over 2000 hours of training with almost 700 hours of clinic practice. Traditional Chinese Medicine is a complete and distinct health discipline designated as such in four Canadian provinces. The training involves Traditional Chinese Medicine histories and theories, diagnosis, treatment principles, as well as training in anatomy, physiology with an introduction to Western pathophysiology, microbiology, pharmaceuticals, and internal medicine. TCM modalities studied include needling, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, Tui Na and Qi Gong.
